HOURS OF OPERATION
Faculty and staff may check out books before and after school using the checkout log located on the circulation counter. Students may check out books Monday through Friday during Open time. We have 6 Destiny search stations that make it possible to find books and do research. We have many Accelerated Reader books in our library to help the students find what they need on their level.
BOOK CHECK-OUT LIMITS
Kindergarten and 1st grade students may check out one book at a time. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students may check out two books at a time. Fines are not charged for overdue books: however, students with overdue books will not be allowed to check out additional books. Students must pay to replace lost or damaged books immediately.
ACCELERATED READER PROGRAM
Renaissance Place is an online program where our students have access to over 100,000 reading quizzes. Eighty to ninety percent of our library books are AR. We use AR in every classroom at Leinkauf – even Kindergarten. 4th and 5th grade students work with Kindergarten students to read AR quizzes to them so they can make their AR goals too!
